Had the catfish sandwich it was delicious. The people working there where very friendly.

This place has bomb BBQ, the chicken was big, juicy and tender, hot links was bomb, out standing brisket that super tender, ribs was great, catfish really crispy, the only thing that's not my favorite was the potato salad because it was little too sweet, but if you like the sweet type potato salad, go for it. The price is not bad and friendly couple. If you're passing I-44 in Missouri, this is a must place that you need to stop. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.They have parking for 18 wheelers.

Best BBQ brisket & catfish in the country! Big portions! U can taste the smoke in the meat. Very good. I’ve been coming here for 5 years, & yes they have truck parking. Please pick up your trash if u stop here.... the owners are kind enough to let us park on this property & I would like for it to stay that way...

I live 6 miles from this place.... better than any fast food joint without a doubt. Healthier and competitively priced makes this our number one

Daniel is amazing ......the best RIBS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to try his food ... if you don't you are missing out.... every chance I get when we come through we have to stop .... we spend alot everytime. But that's because we order alot ... he has very good prices for barbeque.... don't hesitate to stop by .. it's a small building ....but huge on taste and friendliness....... Daniel and his wife are just good home down to earth people .... will continue to go here every chance we get coming through....... thanks yall.....(the big blue truck) .....

Here on Saturday at 12 noon, no one here. Haven’t seen them the last few times I’ve came but I’m still giving 5 stars because they were nice people and the BBQ & Catfish was amazing.

Been here several times and every time it's great. It's not like a lot of places where you wonder where all the meat is, they pile it on.

Put this place on your radar. It's a little hidden between some truck stops and very much worth your time. Amazing, fresh BBQ and sides at CHEAP prices. And while you're waiting you can hang out with their dogs!

Great food & Service - "finger lickn ' good ribs"

Saw this place on a "Best of Route 66" article and my friend and I stopped to check it out on our Springfield>STL>KC>Springfield baseball road trip, and boy am I glad we did. Originally drove right by it and had to turn around to find it, but it was literally the BEST meal I had all weekend. Wanted to stop back by again on my last day in town but it was Sunday and Google said it was closed. :( Please do yourself a favor and go get the brisket from this place. I'd be a regular here if I lived nearby. SO good.

This place is a hidden gem. I can't say enough about how awesome they are. Everything is great and the ribs are insanely good.its right off the freeway easy access for cars or trucks if you're a driver like me you must stop here anytime you get a chance. Family owned and operated high quality everything. Also I'm a dry rub kinda guy but the bbq sauce is homemade and it is to die for. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Ordered a 6pc catfish w/fries and beans....I was impressed nice portions of fish, frys were hand cuts and salted correctly and the beans mmmmm u could taste the smoke in the beans..I definitely will be back when I get the chance.

We are truck drivers so we get to try a lot of places. This is hands down one of the best BBQ we have had. Just saved it to my GPS.

Stopped in while getting some APU work done nearby. Good eats and the owner is a good guy. He sells meals and even meat by the pound. Food was nice and fresh. Prices are agreeable.

Good food. Go hungry. You definitely get your money worth. They are in strafford mo. Off of the high way. Take the right like you are going to loves truck stop.

I realllly do not like spending money, but I will definitely spend more here. As a truck dtiver I eat all over the country and this place, by far, is the best food I've had! Other places charge more and offer way, way less. 10/10...100/10 will eat here again. Now I shall move on to my food coma :D

I stop by whenever I go through Strafford, Mo. Usually twice a week if not more. I grab a dinner with two two sides. They give you enough that I can get two full meals out of it. My wife and kids have heard me brag about it so much that I now have to pick it up and take it home with me at least twice a month. Price is great, food is beyond excellent. I'll call my order on sometimes and it's ready when I get there. If you love BBQ and smoked meat you gotta give it a try, you won't regret it. I gotten several friends hooked on it as well.

Ok, I gotta say, my wife and I, read a lot of reviews truckers post (truckers ourselves) on places to eat and sometimes (most times), you can't believe what you read but dang! I called and they were closing, he told me, all I have are ribs left. Well, luck has it, ribs are what I like. He said I'll bring them over to you if you like. Full rack+ I'm sure. No skimping here. These ribs are fantastic. My wife is not a rib eater but she couldn't stop eating these. Can't Wait to come back and try the other foods! Thank you for delivering them to us at the TA. Thank you, will be back.

Best BBQ we’ve ever had in SW MO!! My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and fries. I got the 3 ribs with baked beans and fries. It was so good, we hardly ate the fires. Must have when you drive through Strafford on I-44. Just turn off where the truck stops are. Get on the road by Love’s gas station. It’s a little black and white trailer by the car wash.

We stopped at Route 66 BBQ and Catfish today and let me just say...... This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is so good. The pricing is perfect because of the quantity of food that you get. I had the chicken nachos with everything on them with a side of fries...... AMAZING!!! My family and I will continue to come back. Definitely made it to our "Favorite places to eat" list!

Walked over from Love's on Saturday at 2:30 but they were closed. Judging from the lack of recent reviews (none on the last 3 months) and from looking through the window of the place it didn't appear that anyone had been there in a while. I'm giving you two stars based on the previous reviews. I don't like giving 1 star reviews unless absolutely necessary. If you're open the next time I'm passing through I will be happy to edit my review.
